Using the current service

Authorized test accounts

Connect only a Square test seller you are authorized to use. Check the location before submitting an order.

Test payment details only

Use Square’s documented test payment methods, not a real card. A payment or order status does not establish that a physical ticket printed.

Published platform offer

No monthly LocalMugs subscription. 20¢ per eligible completed order, capped at $49 per location per month. Square processing fees are separate. Read the pricing details.

Collection and settlement

Account creation does not start automatic collection. Current usage records support reconciliation testing, not finalized capped invoices. Activation, settlement terms and collection arrangements must be completed separately with the merchant.

Live activation

Live payments and customer pickup require separately approved activation, policies and merchant/receiving-workflow checks.
