How LocalMugs handles data
This notice applies to the current test service. It does not replace approved production policies or merchant agreements.
Information used to provide the service
- Merchant accounts and business access
- Account email, password hashes, profile and business details, sessions, membership and access/audit records support the merchant workspace. Optional authenticator credentials and Square seller tokens are encrypted; provider credentials stay server-side.
- Guest orders
- Customers do not need an account. Cart and operational order records support quotes, payments and pickup. Square handles card entry. Use test payment details only while Square test mode is active.
- Support requests
- We retain the reply email and information deliberately submitted in a support request. Do not include card details, passwords, authenticator codes or private account links.
- Customer preferences
- Operational order records are not a permanent cloud account for a customer’s favorites or drink history.
